Want to improve your shooting skills? Next time you go to the range, take our cool summer target with you and shoot these simple, but challenging drills:
Drill 1 - From 5 yards (at low ready or from the holster), place one shot on each area worth 10 points, then the 20 point areas, and finally, the 30 point areas.
If you miss, start over again. When you can hit all the areas without missing, move the target to 7 yards.
Drill 2 - Set a stopwatch or shot timer for 20 seconds. From 5 yards (at low ready or from the holster), see how many areas you can hit before the timer goes off.
This is a great drill to do with a friend because you can compete against each other to see who can get the highest score!
