Around & Back Drill

1 min read

Here's a great drill that will help you speed up your shots while retaining accuracy. It can be done with live ammo or during a dry fire session, you can draw from the holster or from low ready, and if you're working on your speed, you can use a shot timer. Remember, if you're dry firing, make sure to follow all the safety protocols!

The Drill:

String 1: From the holster or low ready, fire one shot on 1-8, reload, then fire one shot on 8-1.

String 2: From the holster or low ready, fire one shot on 1-8 support hand only

String 3: From the holster or low ready, fire one shot on 1-8 with your strong hand only

You can download the target here or use an. 8" paper plate with as many numbers as you'd like!
