The Rapid Reset Drill

Here's a simple and fun drill you can shoot on the range or during a dryfire session. The Rapid Reset drill is designed to help you stay accurate when transitioning from a large to a small target and it can help you improve your reloads!

To shoot the drill:

String 1: draw, then fire five shots at the large flower, reload, then fire one shot on each small flower

String 2: draw, then fire one shot at each flower, reload, then fire five shots on the large flower

Before performing any dry fire drills, make sure that your gun is unloaded (double check) and there is no ammunition in your magazines or anywhere in the room.
