About "Calico":
The Calico series of bags is anything but boring! Printed calico was imported into the United States from Lancashire, England in the 1780's, and then a linguistic separation occurred. While Europe maintained the word "calico" for the fabric, in the States it was used to refer to the printed design.
WILL THE GUN FIT?
All purses on the site will have dimensions for the gun compartment. Always allow at least a half inch of clearance at the zipper.
Example: Gun compartment is 8.5” W x 7” H. If your gun is less than 8" long (end to end) and less than 6.5" tall, it should fit.
Use a Good Holster!
The nylon/elastic purse holsters that most manufacturers include with the bags are a place to start, but they will not be a good fit for many guns.
Your gun won't "snap in" - these holsters have zero retention. If you tip the holster upside down, the gun will slip out. We strongly recommend getting a kydex purse holster that's molded for your specific gun model, with snap-in retention.
