These grips feature full-color, full-coverage images! Select a stock graphic, or submit your own for a custom set of grips! The grips are available for: 1911's, Sig P938 and Ruger Revolvers.
The grips are molded using a high strength, engineered polymer that provides toughness and durability. They are decorated with a patented method that provides one of the most permanent image results available today. Unlike other decorated grips, the images on these grips are resistant to salt, oil, solvent, water, impact and abrasion. In fact, you would have to scratch through more than 2 mils of material to scratch through the image!
Compatible with ambidextrous safety. All sizes except compact have a smooth texture. Compact size has slightly textured surface.
Will fit: Standard, full-size 1911's and clones - Compact 1911 (unfortunately, the grips will NOT fit Springfield EMP) - Bobtail 1911 - Ruger 22/45 or MKIII - Taurus PT1911 (Please note that the stock Taurus PT1911 screw heads will not countersink into these grips. To have flush, countersunk screws you will need to purchase standard 1911 grip screws, which can be found online or at your local gun shop.)
What size grips do you need? If your grip height is 5.25" (height 90 degrees to barrel center), you have a full-size grip frame. Less than that is a compact. Full-size 1911 will have a screw hole spacing (center-to-center) of approximately 3 1/16”. The same spacing on the compact model 1911 will be about 2 11/16”.
Compatible with ambidextrous safety. Grips have a slightly textured surface
Will Fit: The XR3-Red made from 1962 - 2004, the largest of Ruger's standard gripframes: Ruger Blackhawk, Super Blackhawk 4.5 - 6.5" barrel lengths with round back trigger guard, Single Six, Old Army, and Old Vaquero models.
Will NOT Fit: Old Model XR-3 used on original 3-screw guns manufactured 1953 - 1962; New-Model Vaquero; the 50th Anniversary Blackhawk; Bisley and Birdshead gripframes; .22 Bearcat gripframe; or the Super Blackhawk 7.5 - 10" barrel length with the square back trigger guard.

Semi-Custom/Custom: If you would like initials or a name to be added to an existing design (semi-custom), or if you you want a completely custom design, this can be done at an additional cost. We can't create artwork from scratch though. You will need to provide the image/s or artwork that you want to use. Custom grips are $112.95 for the first set. Subsequent identical sets are $64.95 (we save the template). Semi-custom grips (eg. adding text to an existing design) are $84.95 for the first set.
Steps for custom/semi-custom orders:
1. Send your high resolution images for us to review.
2. Once we determine that your image/s will work, you can place your order.
3. An electronic proof will be emailed to you within a couple of days. At this time, you can make changes, cancel your order, or approve the proof for production.
4. If approved, it takes about 10 days to make the grips.
Pease contact us first, let's discuss your ideas before you order. For more details on exactly what's involved in the custom design process, please check the "custom grips" tab on this page.
There's a lot we can do! But we do not create artwork from scratch. We can only work with your finished artwork or supplied images.
Finding a workable image:
If your image has a special background color or design that you want to keep, it helps us to have as much background as possible, so that we can extend it all the way to the edge of the grips. If your image is cropped too close, this could present an issue. The more background we have, the better. It's not as critical with solid black or white backgrounds, but it is with other colors or patterns.
Decide on a background (if there isn't one in your image):
Send us your images by email - once we determine what your images, text and background will be, you can proceed with placing your order. Due to the time required to create them, we do not provide mock-ups/proofs until after your order is received.

Due to the nature of what I sent to Gun Goddess, numerous iterations were required to get the image that I wanted. I was expecting a steep service fee, and was pleasantly surprised when the final total was the same amount quoted to me at the start of this endeavor. Furthermore, I had additional questions about the product after I received the grips and was met with the same outstanding customer service that I had encountered prior to buying the grips. The grips fit perfectly, look great, and have enough grit to them to make them more than just decorative. Very happy that I found this company and ordered from them.

I just finished trying to return a product from ebay. Not a good experience. Not putting them down! I have had excellent experiences with Gun Goddess. I particularly appreciate the personal help I receive and the products so far are outstanding. I plan on buying several more sets of grips in the near future. Strongly recommend Gun Goddess and Athena.

I ordered two sets of custom grips and they have met all expectations. The compact set fit perfectly and the full size set will need some shaving to fit but that was expected. I have a few friends that will be putting an order in after seeing my grips. Communication during the whole process was excellent and everything was as promised. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I ordered some custom grips for my father, who is retired military. It was my first time ordering something in this way. The communication was great from the first email which made the process easy and enjoyable! They were patient with me while I went back and forth between them and my father. The product was great and my father loved it! Craig Partridge

Got an Armscor 1911 on the cheap and decided to use the savings on some custom grips. Had a design floating in my mind, so I reached out to a couple of companies via email. Ended up deciding on GunGoddess due to the quick response times from Athena every step of the way. Final product fits pretty well and looked great. If open carry passes where I am, I would definitely be inclined to do so (with a good retention holster and while maintaining situational awareness, of course) because pretty artworks deserve to be shown to people.
Turnaround time was good, had prompt responses from Athena during the design process. Once I had finalized the design on my end, it was 5 business days (factor in that I also requested they try to fiddle around with the image and touch it up some) to get a mock-up. Once I gave the go-ahead on the mock-up, it took about 3 days for the grips to be produced and shipped to me. Ahead of schedule, in fact, so that's always a plus. In addition, I can confirm after cleanings that they are, in fact, resistant to solvent.

I recently discovered this website and the American Spirit 45 ACP grips are the most incredible I've seen. I wanted to add an additional tribute to 9/11. They did so for a very reasonable fee and I am very pleased. I emailed them several times with questions and they always responded timely. Athena even emailed me after hours. The end product was perfect. I highly recommend Gun Goddess for your needs.

A few months back I contacted Athena about some tribute grips (to my father who passed away this year),Let me say that Athena was very understanding and took my story to heart. She made every attempt to make sure this would be special set to commemorate my dad,she went out her way on several occasions through this process to make sure that the final product would turn out and if i did not like them she would cancel it outright. This was very arduous in that it took several emails back and forth to get it right. She finally got her team on track with what i was looking for and the end result was outstanding!!!My only complaint is not with the work or process but the grip manufacturer,They state that these are ambi safety grips of which they weren't.I had to dremel a fade away cut in order for the safety to clear the grip. But overall very impressed

I ordered the punisher grips for my Sig 1911, plus 3 other grips for my family members. The turn around time was approximately 2 weeks. The grips fit my 1911 with no problem. I have no problems with the way the grips feel when shooting.

I asked for a custom set of grips.... urban digital with my college logo (VMI) included. Athena was quick to respond and was able to get the crew to do a set up for me. Service was excellent, great communication and rapid fabrication. I got my grips in about a week.
No fit issues at all and the grips look great on my 1911's!

I wanted a pair of grips for my 1911A1 that had my college logo on it.
I was unable to find anything good on the internet, so I contacted the Gun Goddess and told her what I wanted. It took a week or so to get the correct graphic, but the results were fantastic. The grips were produced and shipped in a week. They fit perfectly out of the box. They are made of a hard material which holds up far better than wood. This is a top shelf product for the money.
