The 6 in Six Shooting Drill

1 min read

Here's a fun and challenging drill you can shoot either on the range or during a dryfire session. The 6 in Six Drill can help you improve your accuracy and increase your comfort when shooting at distance.

To shoot this drill:

String 1: From 3 yards away, Fire one shot at 1-6 in ascending order
String 2: From 7 yards away, Fire one shot at 1-6 in descending order
String 3: From 10 yards away, Fire one shot at 1-6 in ascending order

If you're using a shot timer, set a par time for 6 seconds and work to get all your shots fired accurately before the timer goes off.

Get the target here.

Before performing any dry fire drills, make sure that your gun is unloaded (double check) and there is no ammunition in your magazines or anywhere in the room.
