The Quinn Leather Backpack is crafted with premium full-grain leather. This unisex backpack has multiple storage options including a built-in RFID-protected organizer and room for your laptop!
Backpack Features:
Gun Compartment Features:
Dimensions:
Backpack: 12"W x 15"H x 6.5"D
Gun pocket: 10.5”L x 6.5”H
All purses on the site will have dimensions for the gun compartment. Always allow at least a half inch of clearance at the zipper.
Example: Gun compartment is 8.5” W x 7” H.
If your gun is less than 8" long (end to end) and less than 6.5" tall, it should fit.
The nylon/elastic purse holsters that most manufacturers include with the bags are a place to start, but they will not be a good fit for many guns.
Your gun won't "snap in" - these holsters have zero retention. If you tip the holster upside down, the gun will slip out. We strongly recommend getting a kydex purse holster that's molded for your specific gun model, with snap-in retention.
You'll get several loose adhesive velcro sheets with it, so you can attach it however you prefer inside your bag (or any surface).
This item is a lovely leather backpack. It is great! It has all the dividers and pockets you could ask for (no side pockets though, which is fine with me, but nowhere to put a bottle of water like on some backpacks--again, I don't care). It has a concealed carry pocket in the front instead of the back. That's great! It's behind the very front pocket, so no imprint. And it's not in the back, so you don't feel anything. This is a very sturdy item with a great light-colored lining so you can actually see down into it. It has one pocket plenty big for an average size laptop.
Believe me, this pack is great. There are just three things I would have preferred, but I knew this when I bought it. First, I actually wish they made one just like it that is a little smaller--a little shorter and a little more narrow. I don't plan to carry a laptop, so it's more of a purse to me, but I wanted it for all the other dividers and pockets and the leather. Also, the concealed pocket is plenty big. It holds my .38 special no problem, However, the velcro holster that came with it is tiny. I just pulled it out and don't use it. It was mentioned somewhere that a better holster is available for purchase elsewhere, but I just wish the one that came with it was a little more all-purpose since the pocket accommodates a larger gun. One other thing, because it is large-ish, real leather, and lined, it's a tad heavy, but that's to be expected. In the end, I just wish they offered the exact same product in a smaller size.
This item came to me so well wrapped that it was incredible. I've never seen anything so protected. It came very quickly, too. Also, there are no embellishments on this pack (I suppose that is because they consider it "unisex" although it says Lady Conceal all over the lining inside). But that is exactly like I wanted it--I don't like metal brads or fringe or any of that stuff. If you do, this might be too basic for you. Also, this site had it far cheaper than anywhere else.
Again, I love this pack! It's a gorgeous, functional leather product. The very first time I used it, the very first place I walked into, a complete stranger told me how much she liked it.
