How is this bag different to other Friday styles?
This Active Collection Friday is made with ballistic nylon and has a quick-release strap buckle.
The OriginalFriday is made with genuine leather and has a traditional strap buckle.
All purses on the site will have dimensions for the gun compartment. Always allow at least a half inch of clearance at the zipper.
Example: Gun compartment is 8.5” W x 7” H.
If your gun is less than 8" long (end to end) and less than 6.5" tall, it should fit.
The nylon/elastic purse holsters that most manufacturers include with the bags are a place to start, but they will not be a good fit for many guns.
Your gun won't "snap in" - these holsters have zero retention. If you tip the holster upside down, the gun will slip out. We strongly recommend getting a kydex purse holster that's molded for your specific gun model, with snap-in retention.
You'll get several loose adhesive velcro sheets with it, so you can attach it however you prefer inside your bag (or any surface).
Here's some guidance on how to choose the right concealed carry purse, including which features and accessories you need to look for when shopping.
There are some critical things you need to know before you carry a gun in a purse. When done correctly, it can be a good option - just follow some basic rules and guidelines.
