This quartz crystal bullet casing necklace is the ultimate bold statement piece! Chunky .45cal long, .45cal, .38cal and .308 auto bullet shell casings are each etched by hand with a natural and unpolished quartz crystal point replacing the projectile! Seven of these unusual combinations are hooked together with golden bronze wire and Bali sterling silver spacers with hammered sterling silver link chain. A rough-cut, genuine Quartz gemstone flanks the bullet series.

This striking necklace is handmade to a high standard from start to finish. Each wire end is wrapped securely. Each of the bullet shell casings are cleaned of all gunpowder and tumbled for hours, after etching, to restore shine. Each casing is then given a patina to enhance the design, then coated with Renaissance Wax to protect the finish. Closure is a handmade sterling silver hook - very easy to clasp with a sterling silver extender, finished with a sparkling multi-faceted 8mm crystal round and sterling silver daisy spacers!

Necklace measures 18" long with a 2" sterling silver extender chain and crystal dangle to look just as good at the back - because of the extender chain, the necklace can be hooked to be worn as a choker or as a longer necklace. Bullet casing and crystal combinations measure from 1-1/2” to 2-1/8 " long. Casing diameter ranges from 1/2” to 3/8”.
