Absolutely worthless for a firearms environment

Purchased these for wife. She tried these out for the very first time at a ladies competition shooting event without also bringing along her tried and true regular ear muffs. BIG MISTAKE! She endured several hours of painfull gun shots as these electronic muffs did not do the job at all! Big waste of money! I don't understand how the manufacturer would have even put these on the market, they sure couldn't have tested these properly.
